10 Acro Yoga Poses YOU can try!

Everyone has their go-to’s while exercising: your favourite machine at the gym, the best bike at spin, or the yoga pose you are praying your instructor includes in class. So of course, we also have our go-to partner acro yoga poses that we always find ourselves doing when we get together! Some poses we’ve been doing since our competitive dance days and some we’ve recently fell in love with. From L basing and flying, to mirroring each others postures on the mat, we put together a variety of postures you can try. If you’re new to basing and flying many of these postures are a great starting point because both yogis have support on the ground so you can get used to gently transferring your weight to someone else. So grab your “Yoga Twin” and give these poses a try! Take some pics along the way and tag us in your progress pics @yoga_twins.

These postures might look a little crazy, but with the proper alignment, a safe environment, and the support of others anyone can achieve them!
