Simple, Healthy, & Delicious Dip Trio

Here are our favourite healthy homemade dip options to knock the socks off your friends and family! Best served with veggies, pita, tortilla chips, fresh baguette, or whatever else you would like. These dips are not only healthy and delicious, but also so easy to make!


Greek Yogurt Red Pepper Dip



  • 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of roasted garlic and peppers seasoning


  1. Chop the red pepper
  2. Combine all ingredients into food processor or blender and blend until even consistency. Try not to over mix or else it will lose it's thickness
  3. Serve!

Charred-tomato salsa dip


  • 2-3 large tomatoes
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Green onion
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper




  1. Preheat oven to broil
  2. Place tomatoes (whole) on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil
  3. Broil tomatoes until charred. Remove and set aside to cool.
  4. Chop green onion (end result should be 1-2 tablespoons worth), garlic, and jalapeno
  5. Remove the core of the tomatoes, and combine in food processor with green onion, garlic, jalapeno, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt and pepper. (NOTE: I do not have a food processor and therefore used my nutribullet.. if you do this be very careful not to over blend, I did this the first time I made it. The tomatoes are very juicy!)
  6. Serve warm or cold!




Spinach Artichoke dip

(The not so healthy but very DELICIOUS dip in this trio)


  • 1 can of artichoke hearts
  • 1 cup of frozen spinach (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup of red onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of pesto
  • 1/4 cup of light mayonnaise
  • tsp of salt and pepper


  1. Preheat oven to broil
  2. Place the red bell pepper on a baking sheet and roast the until charred. Remove and set aside to let cool
  3. Reduce oven temp to 350 degrees
  4. Once cool enough to touch, chop the red pepper
  5. Drain artichoke hearts
  6. Combine all ingredients and mix
  7. Place in baking pan or casserole dish and cover with tin foil
  8. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes
  9. Serve warm!
